What’s on in May

A round-up of events on at Karamel this month! May’s Jazz programme (every Thursday) features acclaimed saxophonist Simon Picard, award-winning Royal Academy of Music final year guitarist Stan Brunt, heavyweight saxophonist Brandon Allen joining KAIYO, stellar 10-piece band Perfect Stranger led by Chris Sansom “exciting blend of rock, jazz and twentieth century music”, and ends with Tomorrow’s Warriors presents Miranda Radford up-and-coming jazz drummer!

A new exhibition has arrived with The Essential School of Painting Graduates Show.

Other featured events include Karamel Kids with Hansel, Gretal and You… Who? and Chris Mayne World of Magic, Sip & Paint workshop, a Film Screening celebrating F.N. Souza, Poetry and Poppadums with Nigel Planer, and a free Sunday afternoon of jazz with Mike Gorman-Brigitte Beraha Trio. In our theatre, is the Embers Festival, new writing festival with workshops and panel discussions, presented by Stoke the Embers.
