What’s on in April
A round-up of some events at Karamel this month that are open to all. Our Thursday jazz nights feature the hugely talented and versatile guitarist Nick Costley-White, award-winning saxophonists Alan Barnes and Helena Kay, and Women in Jazz Media presents Laura Impallomeni, trombonist!
On the last Saturday of the month is Echoes of Eternity (27 April) – A journey through timeless melodies and rhythms that echo the soul of India, that promises to be an enchanting night of tabla, sitar and song (Indian classical music and Ghazals).
Karamel Kids on Saturdays 13 and 27 April has a comical retelling of Old McDonald and the Three Pigs Plus…, and imaginative storytelling of Little Red Cap and the Wolf. Bought to you by Booster Cushion and Sandal Sticks Theatre.
Revolution on Sunday 14 April has some of our favourite stars of stage and screen, Sheila Atim, Martina Laird and Omar!
Slainte Theatre presents Shepherd’s Warning in the Theatre from 18-21 April. A play that explores identity, class, and broken families.
