The Chocolate Factory: Is Italy getting ready for cultural industries?

In the borough of Haringey in North London a building called the Chocolate Factory is home to over 220 artists and providing work for some 500 people. TheΒ skills range of art forms from music, film, media to performing arts and fashion. It has become a hub of excellence in the creative industries. However, it just started with a few artists’ studios when these entrepreneurs decided in the mid-nineties to take over a derelict chocolate factory and turn it into something else.
