The last campaign we ran helped us to raise much needed funds to install a lighting rig in our community McQueens Theatre which we are developing into a professional working performance space and gig venue for emerging artists, school groups and community organisations.
About Collage Arts
Collage Arts explores how creative people and practitioners can build a stronger community in and around our base in North London. We need your support – add voices/ kids/ works/ community/ artspace/ events/ to your donation if you want it to be targeted to one of the following areas:
Collage Voices: Uses creative approaches to empower young people to have a voice. We have members who attend our inclusive sessions on Saturdays and we work in 7 partner schools reaching 500 young people a year.
Collage Kids: Provides regular free or pay-what-you-can theatre, music and movement for pre-schoolers and their families.
Collage Works: Provides opportunities for enterprising people to develop livelihoods in the creative industries – we are especially keen to help the sector to reflect the diversity and talent London has to offer.
Collage Community: Works primarily with women of colour, including refugees, asylum-seekers and recently arrived communities. We help women to use their creative skills to build support networks, confidence and working opportunities.
Collage Artspaces: Provides over 80,000 square feet of studio space for nearly 200 artists and community groups at some of the lowest rents in London. Each year exhibitions and events give the community the chance to see work and meet the artists.
Collage Events: Provides a platform for artists and musicians, with live music gigs and showcasing opportunities under the Karamel banner in and around Wood Green.
