Tonight! Wood Green's weekly edition of jazz featu Tonight! Wood Green's weekly edition of jazz features the Tony Woods Project.  "Woods is phenomenal" (BBC Music Magazine)

**** (Jazzwise)  With 4 highly acclaimed albums of original folk, jazz, rock, world inspired compositions, they happily shift gear between jogs and reels, Balkan dances, atmospheric ballads and ambient electronics, alongside Latin. African, funk and rock grooves.  The highly distinctive sound of this long standing band, comes courtesy of Rob Millet's glowing Gary Burton-esque vibraphone, Mile Outram's superlative, angular chord work, Andy Hamill's rock-steady bass, Milo Fell's percussive prowess, as well as Tony Wood's inimitable, virtuosic and expressive musical story-telling on saxes, alto clarinet, wood flute and whistle.  Doors open 7pm, music starts at 8pm.

Tomorrow at 8pm Tara Minton, an Australian born ha Tomorrow at 8pm Tara Minton, an Australian born harpist, vocalist and composer, is performing along side Germana Stella La Sorsa, Faris Ishaq and Joe Boyle @MAAD.  She is proudly endorsed by Camac Harps and holds a masters degree in jazz performance from The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Well established as both an improvising harpist and vocalist, she has worked with Björk, Tom Walker, Miranda Mulholland, “Kitty, Daisy and Lewis”, SuRie, Stan Sulzman, Tommaso Starace, Tony Kofi and Geoff Gascoyne.
