Jazz at Karamel; April.
This April we’ve got another exciting exhibition of jazz music, from our tribute benefit concert for our friend Jim Mullen, to the incredible and sought after Dave Whitford Quartet we’ve got an event for all your musical needs.
Starting off on April 5th, we’ll be hosting a benefit gig for legendary jazz artist Jim Mullen, where all the money raised on the evening will go towards his recuperation whilst he’s not well.
The day after on Thursday 6th April, we’ll be hosting Alan Barnes on clarinet and alto, Kate Williams on piano, Dave Green rocking the bluesy bass, and Stu Butterfield gracing the drums for another action packed night of smooth jazz to soothe your mid-week struggles.
On the 13th the Amy Baldwin Trio will be gracing our stages for another evening of melodic and moving music, featuring Liam Noble on Piano, Amy Baldwin on the bass and Patrick Davey on drums.
On the 20th, Dave Whitford Quartet with Nick Smart on trumpets, Dave Whitford on Bass, Stan Sulzmann on tenor and Tim Giles on drums.
Finally, on the 27th, the Tristan Maillot Quintent will bring you back into summer with Gareth Lochrane on the flutes, Mark Ridout on guitar, Flo Moore on the bass, Mike Gorman on the keyboard and Tristan Maillot with drums.
