Haringey Literature Live
Our Haringey Literature Live writing and reading workshops are continuing to enrich people’s lives, giving them real skills to take their writing forward, and providing a community of writers and readers to share ideas and practice with.
We are excited to be launching three new courses for May/June and bringing back by popular request our life writing course. Participants can choose from Performance Poetry; Next Steps in Novel Writing; Portraits from Paintings; and Write My Life. The six 2.5 hour sessions at Chocolate Factory 1 are working very well (and all for just £95, with refreshments included!). We started with 3 sessions, and from student feedback moved to 5, and then to 6 which seems like an ideal number of sessions, although people still leave saying they wished there was more!
For course programme, tutor biographies and student testimonals, please check out www.haringeyliteraturelive.com/workshops.
Alternatively, you can read the short stories which are featured here: http://haringeyliteraturelive.com/highlights-from-open-studios-2016-flash-fiction-workshop/
In other news, our new venue for our Tuesday drop in reading group run by Carmel Shortall (www.haringeyliteraturelive.com/clubs) is providing a wonderful backdrop to the meetings. A great range of stimulating texts is discussed each week, and no homework! Check it out at The Green Rooms, N22!
